LeadKS, Inc. runs leadks.org. This page explains what information we collect, why, where it goes, and how to have it removed.
When you sign up for a workshop
The sign-up form on each event page asks for your name, email, phone number (optional), zip code, and who invited you. It also notes which workshop you chose and, if you arrived through a link like the one on our flyer, which link brought you.
We use this to save your seat, send your confirmation and reminders, plan the room, and learn how people hear about us.
Where your information goes
- Google. Sign-ups are stored in a private Google Sheet that only LeadKS can see.
- Mailchimp. We add your name, email, zip code, who invited you, and your workshop to our email list. Mailchimp sends your confirmation, reminders, and occasional LeadKS updates. Your phone number is not sent to Mailchimp.
- Zoom. If you sign up for an online workshop, we register your name and email with Zoom so you get your personal link.
- Text reminders. If you give us a phone number, we may text you a reminder before a workshop. Texts are sent by a person at LeadKS, not an automated service.
Email updates
If you join our email list from the site, we collect your name and email and keep them in Mailchimp.
The contact form
When you send us a note, the form collects your name, email, organization, and message, and sends them to our inbox so we can reply.
What we don’t do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the services listed above. We do not use advertising trackers.
The website itself
The site does not store your sign-up information. If you arrive through a link like the one on our flyer, your browser briefly remembers which link it was so the sign-up form can include it; this clears when you close the tab. Like most websites, our host keeps standard server logs for security.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any LeadKS email.
- Stop texts by replying to tell us.
- See, correct, or delete your information by sending us a note through the contact form. We will take care of it promptly.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
